International Colloquium Fuels - Conventional and Future Energy for Automobiles

Nr. 50002.00.002

19.01.2011 - 20.01.2011

Referent:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. W. J. Bartz

The requirements on fuels for combustion engines
and mobile energy equipments are governed by
the following aspects:
> Engine type,
> Engine performance,
> Environment protection needs,
> Legislative requirements,
> Fuels sources and resources.

The importance of these points varies in different
areas and countries. As a matter of fact, however,
the requirements on the chemical, physical, and
technological properties of fuels will increase
worldwide.
In the course of this development, a conflict will
arise between the requirements of the equipments
and engines and the expectations regarding the
protection of the environment.
Consequently, we will be forced to establish a
balance between the various demands.
Therefore, this international colloquium aims at
contributing to the solution of these problems:
Main Subjects
> Gasoline Engine Fuels and Diesel Fuels
> Properties of Fuels
> Test Methods and Conditions
> Bio-Diesel Fuels
> Fuel and Combustion Processes
> Diesel and Combustion Processes
