Fuels and Future Energy Carriers for Mobility

The commercial and individual mobility is one of the most important facts for economy and prosperity. Nevertheless global warming and impact of harmful emissions are threats we have to manage. CO2 and NOx emissions are in focus of future developments in automotive and fuels industry. An economic and sustainable development towards less greenhouse gas emissions needs a holistic view on base of life cycle assessments for the different mobility approaches. A synergetic discussion of solutions for future fuels and energy carriers is needed to find an economic pathway to a sustainable mobility of tomorrow. The optimum solution for mobility can only be achieved by international cooperation of the engine manufacturers, the mineral oil industry, the energy producer and the legislative bodies.
