Virtual Participation – International Colloquium Fuels
For the first time, you can take part in the International Colloquium Fuels live and online from anywhere. With the help of a web conference system, participants and speakers are connected to one another in a virtual conference room.
You can follow the speaker's lecture via live stream on your screen. You can use the chat options to ask your questions to the speaker or moderator. The participation fee includes access to the digital conference manual with all lectures submitted in advance.
Virtual conference setting for online participants on 15 and 16 September 2021:
The technical requirements for online participation are minimal:
- PC, notebook or mobile phone
- Stable internet connection
- Current internet browser (recommended: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)
- Headset or microphone and speaker
- Webcam (optional)
Neither a plug-in nor a software / app needs to be installed. The web conference system is fully executed in your browser with a click of a link.
If you are participating from a company network, you may sometimes have connection problems. Ask your IT administrator whether "WebRTC" is allowed. It usually works better if you use a private laptop.
In order to enable all participants to participate smoothly, we recommend that you carry out a technical test in advance with the system that you are using to take part in the event. Please follow this link: test for live online event.
Prior to the event, you will receive an email from us with your personal access data for the virtual conference room, a free voucher code for access to the digital conference documents (ePDF), brief instructions for using the conference platform and further information.
Instructions for activating the voucher code for access to the digital conference documents (ePDF) can be obtained by entering the following URL in your Internet browser: gutschein.narr.digital
If you have any questions or problems regarding the activation of the digital conference documents (ePDF), please contact the publisher's support directly, stating an e-mail and, if necessary, telephone number: firstname.lastname@example.org or +49 (0) 7071 97 97 30.
