Excursion on Thursday, 27 of January 2022 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm

On Thursday afternoon you have the opportunity to visit the medieval town Esslingen and join a guided tour of Germany‘s oldest sparkling wine cellar KESSLER SEKT. See with your own eyes how the „pearly gold“ is produced in a cultural monument that is over 800 years old and test a glass of Kessler Sekt. The guided tour is available in German and English. A bus shuttle is provided.

Please note that a separate registration is needed for this tour. The fee is € 35 (free of V.A.T.). Just tick the relevant box in the registration form (or send an email to anmeldung@tae.de).

4:00 pm Meeting Point at TAE reception desk
4:15 pm Departure of bus shuttle to Esslingen
5:00 pm Start of Guided Tour at Kessler Sekt
6:00 pm End of Guided Tour
6:30 pm Departure of bus shuttle back to TAE or possibility to stay at Esslingen and dine in restaurant

Hotel Accommodation

For your convenience, we have blocked rooms in hotels of various categories vicinity of the conference venue. We provide a bus shuttle service from the hotels booked through our accommodation service to the Technische Akademie Esslingen (in the mornings) and back (in the evenings).
Please note your hotel wishes in the online registration form or contact our accommodation service.

Of course you are free to book a room by yourself in a hotel of your choice.

Invitation Letter

Participants coming from outside the Schengen Area wishing to enter Germany must be able to submit statutory documents at the border concerning the reasons for their stay, their means of support and accommodation arrangements. For general information and for preparing, submitting and tracking your visa application, log on to Germanys official visa site.
